老师们同学们好。我是来自六年级二班的陈文薇。我很荣幸能成为本周的升旗手。来到未来科技学校，我认识了很多朋友，在这里过得很愉快。我的兴趣爱好有读书，听音乐等。我会做好本周的升旗工作，珍惜这一次机会，并且继续努力学习，做一名优秀的中学生。

Hello, teachers and students. I'm Chen Wenwei from class 2, grade 6. I'm honored to be the flag raiser this week.When I came to the future Academy of science and technology, I met many friends and had a good time here.My hobbies are reading, listening to music and so on.I will do a good job in this week's flag raising work, and continue to work hard to be an excellent middle school student.

我是一年级二班的陈正桐，非常高兴能够成为本周的升旗手。我是一个热爱运动，喜欢唐诗的阳光男孩。诗人中，我最喜欢李白的豪迈。在这里我想引用一句李白的诗词，与同学们共勉：行路难，行路难。多歧路，今安在？长风破浪会有时，直挂云帆济沧海!

Dear teachers and classmates,

This is Henry Chen from Class 2 Grade I. It is my great honor to be a flag raiser today. I like playing basketball, football and table tennis. Also I am a fun of traditional poem. I want to share one of Libai’s poem here to all of us:

A time will come to ride the wind and cleave the waves;

I’ll set my cloudlike sail to cross the sea which raves.

国旗下讲话

尊敬的老师，亲爱的同学们，大家早上好！今天是3.22日——世界水日 ，所以我国旗下的讲话主题是“节约用水，守护生命之源！”

1993年1月18日，第四十七届联合国大会作出决议，确定每年的3月22日为“世界水日”。联合国确定2021年“世界水日”的主题为“爱惜水，爱护水”。

水是生命之源，水是万物生存的希望。在诗人眼里，水是壮美的、多情的。张若虚在《春江花月夜》中说“春江潮水连海平，海上明月共潮生。”白居易在《忆江南》中言“日出江花红胜火，春来江水绿如蓝。”还有刘禹锡的“九曲黄河万里沙，浪淘风簸自天涯。”，李白的“黄河之水天上来，奔流到海不复回。”王勃的“落霞与孤鹜齐飞，秋水共长天一色。”这些优美诗句中的“水”赋予了诗词色彩和灵魂。

而在我们眼中，有水的地方就有生命和希望。如今，我们深刻地认识到，手部卫生对于遏制新冠病毒以及许多其他传染病的传播至关重要。

然而，你知道吗？世界上有数十亿人无法通过洗手来预防新冠病毒。全球有超过10亿人生活在缺水地区；约1/4的人口面临“极度缺水”危机；在中国，水资源总量居世界第6位，而人均占有量却居世界第108位，是世界上21个贫水和最缺水的国家之一，人均淡水占有量仅为世界人均的1/4。

一方面是日趋严峻的水资源形势，而另一方面，在我们日常生活中，水的浪费是惊人的。如果我们学校里有一个关不紧的水龙头，那么一个月可以流掉1-6立方米水；有一个漏水的马桶，则一个月要流掉3-25立方米水。浪费极大！

所以现在我向学校里的每一位老师和同学提出倡议：珍惜每一滴水，从每一次洗手这样的小事做起；珍惜每一滴水，从身边的你我他做起。你挥霍的，也许正是别人渴求的。聚沙成塔，让我们每个人养成节水好习惯，用点滴之举，守护生命之源！我的讲话结束了，谢谢大家！

Today is March 22th. It's World Water Day. The theme for this year is Valuing Water.

We all know that water is the origin of life. Without water, there will be no generations of lives on the Earth.

Water means different things to different people. In households, schools, and workplaces, water can mean health and productivity. In natural spaces, water can mean peace, harmony, and preservation.

Although the water resource in China is rich, the available freshwater is quite limited. Today, China's freshwater resource is under extreme threat from a growing population, increasing industry demands, and worsening climate change impacts.

As students, we need to raise awareness and value water because water shortage is not a standalone challenge but a vital social threat.

Everyone, let's protect water and don't let our tear becomes the last drop of water on the Earth.
